Service Description
Help us bring a spectacle to the closing fireworks of the River Festival. Light up your board or craft and yourself in line with the festival theme of Creative Maidstone and watch the fireworks from the water. Paddlers are required to sign up prior to entering the water so we have emergency contact details etc. We have limited spaces, we will meet at Lockmeadow long stay carpark prior to entering the water where we will sign you in and out of the water. You will be issued a hi vis for the paddle. If you are not signed in you will not be covered by our safety team and your safety is your own responsibility. We will have water safety on hand to support the event. Buoyancy aids are mandatory, Leashes must be coiled and have a quick release belt or not worn for safety reasons. There will be increased entanglement risk due to the amount of boats moored up. A light on the front and rear of your craft is mandatory all other lights are optional. Remember to dress for the water temperature! All participants will require their own waterways licence. EA will be in attendance on the day. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel a booking up to 24 hours prior to the booking. There is a non refundable deposit of £10 per person per booking. This can be transferred to another booking if you reschedule a lesson with us. This will be at management discretion. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.
