Service Description

Group lessons are the easiest (and most cost effective) way to learn to paddleboard and a great way to meet other people. If you want to work on a specific skill or have a more personalised package, check out our 1-1 lessons. All safety equipment is provided. All our group lessons except have a minimum age of 8 years old. What we do – The River lesson will cover all safety aspects of paddle boarding and use of the inland waterway. This group is for paddlers who have mastered standing up and are able to control the board. You might be looking to learn or establish more advance manoeuvres, including more advance turns and more advance paddle techniques. This is ideal for those preparing for more adventurous outings such as long river tours. We like to mix up our lessons and incorporate games and challenges to push paddlers abilities through out all of our lessons. By the end of the lesson you will understand the hazards associated with the sport and paddling. These River sessions will cover all the additional safety aspects of paddling on a River and slow flowing waters, including how to identify hidden hazards and navigating flowing water. Lessons Last approximately two hours. What you need – Please arrive in plenty of time to prepare for the lesson. Lessons start at the time stated so participants should arrive around 30 minutes early. This is a water-based activity and you are likely to get wet please come dressed in suitable clothing – Swim wear or quick drying clothes and a towel. Wetsuits can be provided if required please advise in advance of your session. Leave all personal belongings on land – do not enter the water with anything your aren't prepared to get wet. Ability and fitness requirements – All participants must be able to swim 50 metres. This is an intro lesson so no prior experience necessary. Venue – River Medway - Lock Meadow. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a booking up to 24 hours prior to the booking. There is a non refundable deposit of £10 per person per booking. This can be transferred to another booking if you reschedule a lesson with us. This will be at management discretion. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will be charged the full price.
