River Wye SUP Adventure

Come and join us for 3 amazing days exploring and relaxing on the beautiful river Wye.  Just £459.

No experience needed. We will provide an introduction to SUP on Day 1.

The trip has been designed with beginner and intermediate paddlers in mind who are looking to take their first steps into the world of SUP touring. On this trip, you can switch off and enjoy your time in nature. These trips are perfect for developing your skills and understanding of SUP touring.

All WSA SUP adventures are fully outfitted using premium SUP and water sports companies such as Palm Equipment and Starboard. A individual kit list will be provided in advance of your arrival.

Breakfast, lunches, snacks, tea/coffee and an evening meal on the first night will be provided. We will visit a local country pub on the second evening.

DAY 1

We will meet you at Lucksall campsite between 09:30 and 10 am if you are driving. If you are arriving by train, we will have a minibus collect you at 09:00 from Hereford train station.

On arrival, you will be supplied with everything you need for the weekend, including tents, sleeping mats, SUPs, paddles, PFDs, drybags (75ltr & 20ltr), wetsuits and jackets and a food bag containing breakfasts, snacks and your first evening meal.

Once your bags are packed, we will jump on the minibus and be delivered to the start of our journey.

Before setting out, we will begin with an introduction to stand-up paddling, and over the 3 days, we aim to develop your knowledge and skills.

We will arrive at camp early evening where once we have set up camp, we will have a warm meal, kick back and relax with a nice glass of wine around the campfire.

DAY 2

You will be woken with a warm drink. breakfast will be Porridge with toppers, before setting out to explore the Wye.  Throughout the day there will be many opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.

Along the way, we will pass through small sections of flowing water, perfect for beginners, which we will teach you how to navigate.

Lunch will be provided on the riverbank, and we will stop for warm drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Once we arrive at our second destination and set up camp, we head to a local restaurant in the beautiful farming town of Hereford for an evening meal.

DAY 3

Warm drinks and breakfast are served in the morning. Pack up and set off on the final section of the journey. As always, we will stop for warm drinks, snacks, and another delicious fresh lunch.

We will finish our trip around 14:00, where we will be met by the minibus and driven back to Lucksall campsite. You will have the opportunity to shower and get cleaned up, ready to travel home.

ARRIVING: BY CAR – 09:30 MEETING TIME

You can drive directly to Lucksall campsite where you can park your car for £3 per night.

BY TRAIN - 09:00 ARRIVAL

Arrive at Hereford train station for 09:00am where we can arrange for collection and drop off. We will need this information in advance of your arrival.
