Leybourne Lakes Theme days - D-Day Water fight

Leybourne lakes Theme days are a round of special celebrations at Leybourne Lakes organised by Daddyboards. These days are suitable for all water craft usually welcomed at the lakes and some will be suitable for swimmers to join in too. Tickets for paddlers must be brought via Daddyboards website and swimmers will check in the usual way at the sports centre. 

D-Day 6th June - Join us to celebrate the 79th aniversary of the D-Day landings at leybourne lakes. We will be taking donations for RBLI on the evening. Free cake provided. Mass water fight after a minutes silence. 

Bring your own arsenal where possible as we have limited availability. Please note no water balloons permitted due to impact on the wildlife. Reuseable balls are acceptable. 

Itinerary:

4 pm Lake opens - entry can be gained with your ticket information from 4pm. 

6pm Main entry to the water for social paddle

650pm Prepare for the minutes silence gather your ammunition

7pm Minute silence to remember those lost.

705pm Water fight commences

730pm Cake availble at the watersports centre

8pm Lake must be emptied but opportunity to socialise at the centre over cake!
