Halloween Night Paddle and Swim @ Leybourne Lakes

Come and celebrate Halloween with us from the spooky depths of the lake! Leybourne Lakes will be open for a special evening of paddle and swim based fun! Bring your own craft or hire directly from the lakes. All craft must be illuminated, if you are hiring you will need to provide your own lights. Swimmers will have to illuminate tow floats or wear a head torch.  We recommend either water proof bike lights or battery operated fairy lights.

*Fancy Dress is not mandatory but it is encouraged!*

*There will be  some paddle based games hosted by Daddyboards.*

*Prizes for quickest dark lap and best dressed!*

*This is a family friendly event but children must be over 5 to go on the water and under 8's must be on a craft with a parent.* 

*Apple bobbing and other child friendly land based activities. Big kids welcome too.* 

*Halloween themed treasure hunt from your craft. Find all the letters to discover the hidden word and get a treat!*

Tickets must be brought in advance via the Daddyboards website linked to this event. All swimmers must be inducted to swim at the lake.

What you need:

Your board or craft. (if not hiring)

Your fancy dress outfit

Water temp is dropping quickly so wetsuits are recommended.

Lights are mandatory and this can either be board lights or head torch or any combination. 

Usual lake rules apply for buoyancy aids - Mandatory for under 18's. Over 18's can wear a leash or a buoyancy aid. We recommend both.

Please bring your own drinks. No alcohol to be consumed on the water but is allowed on the shore. You will have a free hot drink and cake included in your ticket price.

Please enter through the country park entrance and park in the Waterports Carpark. You can register for free parking in the Watersports Centre.
